First and foremost, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to the past members of BSA. Their unwavering commitment, hard work, and dedication have indubitably shaped the Bamboo Society into what it is today. Their tireless efforts have not only kept the bamboo spirit alive but have also laid a sturdy foundation for our future endeavours.
With great anticipation, we are thrilled to announce the appointment of Jennifer Snyders as the President of The Bamboo Society Australia. Jennifer, heralded as the World Bamboo Ambassador, CEO of House of Bamboo, and the heart behind Australian Bamboo Plantations, brings a reservoir of expertise and fervour to our society.

"As the newly appointed President of the Bamboo Society, it is both an honour and a privilege to lead a Society that promises to advance bamboo as a pivotal, sustainable resource. Our past members have set a remarkable benchmark, and their vision for bamboo continues to inspire us. With a fresh board in place, we are emboldened with a renewed purpose. As we move forward, our commitment is to foster a democratic, inclusive, diverse, and collaborative community. We aim to curate an environment where every voice is valued, and every perspective is cherished. Stay tuned for our revamped mission statement and guidelines, which we will unveil after our October meeting."
