Hi we germinated and planted what we believed to be Atroviolacea. Now the seedling has matured it has many small thorns and very small leaves. Not G Angustafolia. Any ideas what it could be please. Thanks

I bet you bought the seeds from that mob in Germany. Their seeds are very iffy, I bet they themselves don't even know what they send out. I have not heard of atro flowering anywhere so... Also, you think you have G, artoviolacea not D. atro

Hi Hans, yes they are iffy. Quite a few different seeds I tried turned out to be this small / small leafed and sprawling thorny variety. Thanks for your reply. Mark
